This project was conceived during the lockdown as an idea by my youngest Associate Parvathy R Nair. The aim of these podcasts is to try and assist trial lawyers by covering almost the whole of the Code of Civil Procedure and applicable provisions of the Indian Evidence Act through total of 750 podcasts. As Kannada is the official language of the State the podcasts are in English with voice overs in Kannada and each version is provided with a transcript in that language. The podcasts can be downloaded. To this end I thank the Karnataka State Bar Council for permitting me to make these podcasts, IRP, Los Angeles for editing the raw film, Mr. Sridhar Ranganathan and his team of Ms. Mansi and Mr. Sandip of Shankar Mahadevan Academy for assisting us in developing the App and dealing with all technical issues, Ms. Ramya Goutham for designing the logo and all others involved in voicing, translating and transcribing material. The contents of these podcasts are not legal advice. This App presently covers only Civil Procedure Code and Evidence. There are two sections presently based on languages:Kannada English Each section is divided into Orders as per the Civil Procedure Code and each order has many modules that would assist lawyers on the move, at office and in court to access information as to law and procedure, thereby improving the quality of legal representation which will benefit the litigating public at large. All modules are self study modules and any topic under the modules can be accessed at any time. User can watch the video, listen to the audio while they are driving to the Courts and read the transcripts while waiting for the matter to reach in Court also. This App on completion of 750 podcasts is intended to serve as a virtual manual of the Code of Civil Procedure
